Yeah this retro funk took me back I went through some of the files. I could see that I will be using them in the immediate future on some of my projects.
killer hits
Hobbyist looking for some good beats for my BeatBuddy. Worked perfectly. More natural fills than singular sounds beats that came with the pedal.
High quality, well organized for different software
I've gotten MIDI files from a lot of sources, and Groove Monkee is the most complete and organized I've come across. The level of support for various virtual drum software packages is pretty incredible, and the prices are more than competitive. I'm definitely looking to purchase more in the future.
Great product because, I'm not a drummer Groove Monkee helps me with a lot of productions. Keep up the great work it really helps us producers sound more professional when using this product.

Absolutely precious retro funk loop! Absolut preziöse Retro Funk Loop! Simply fantastic, with the good samples I get the impression that a real drummer is playing in a small home studio, very dynamic, totally natural feeling, very easy to edit and create something new. Very authentic and precious work, just fantastic!
Great for more than funk! These are great for more than just standard funk, I have been using them with rock of different styles. They can give such a cool, unexpected vibe. I really quite like them!

Retro Funk MIDI Drum Loops I love it! Just what I needed. A variety of grooves and fills to choose from.
Excellent rhythms; easy to organise Great rhythms, easy to organise -- Intro, Verse, Chorus, etc.
superb funk loops another gem from groovemonkee highly recommended by me. a big 10/10
Good patterns Good patterns, all useful and well laid out.
Perfect I'm not a drummer, so I use theses midi drum loops mostly in Native Studio drummer during the composing/production stage. The grooves are so great and natural that it looks like cheating. All the nuances, the groovy imperfections, the dynamics of an excellent drummer are very well transcribed. By the way, I'm a fan of old New Orleans funk (even if there's no direct link to the music I'm making) and this Retro funk bank is quite in the mood. It's quite surprising how easily you can use it in different genre (trip-hop, moody electro pop, folktronica...), specially that you can edit the drums loops with ease. I used the loops only in Native Instruments (Studio Drummer, Abbey Road and Battery 4) and didn't encountered any incompatibility problem so far (notes, velocity... etc.). Perfect midi drum loop bank for me ! Don't search
great usable funk grooves I am very happy with the retro funk MIDI drum loops package. Lots of good grooves that are in the pocket.
Big Fan The retro funk and New Orleans packs are perfect for players looking for Meters and James Brown influenced rhythms. The variety of rhythms is great and I’ve really enjoyed writing and practicing with them. Well worth it!
