What are Accent Files?

The BeatBuddy pedal has an accent feature that allows you to play any properly formatted wave file in order to emphasize the beat. This is usually a crash cymbal but recently a customer asked if we had any accents with crashes plus the kick lying around. We did not but thought: that's a great idea!

The image below shows the location of the accent "slot" in the BeatBuddy manager. To add or change an accent, double click the button or the wave file, if one is currently loaded in the slot.

What's in the Download?

36 properly formatted wave files featuring:

a) Crash only (50%, 60%, 75%, 80%, 90% 100%)

b) Crash plus kick (50%, 60%, 75%, 80%, 90% 100%)

Cymbals: Crash 1, Crash 2 and Splash

Format: The accent files match the criteria required to load them into your BeatBuddy: 16-bit 44.1 kHz wave files.

Do they match the BeatBuddy kits?

Yes, we used the samples from the BeatBuddy "standard" kit. Those cymbals are part of many, if not most of the kits.

Where can I download the files?

In case you missed the link above, download here

Can you make more?

Sure. Send us your requests and maybe we'll add it to the next version.

We hope these accents help you enjoy your Beatbuddy even more. Thanks for reading and rock on!
