fun stuff
You sold this MIDI pack as Police-esque but I found the beats disappointingly bland and lacking any of the flair of Stewart Copeland's drumming.
All the stuff from Groove Monkee is top shelf. I have bought several different beats from them for use with my BeatBuddy and they all sound super great! I would highly recommend them. Russ is super nice to deal with too!
Real Fun. Great Grooves. Great Drumming. Luv it.
I own several GM. This is one of the best. Inspired several songs. Pretty cool to jam to Stewart Copeland!!!
Quite accurate transcriptions. I've been running them synchronously to the original recordings. Remarkable, how the song's speed vary in tempo! The Police-men never used a click-track, I guess. Now go find the appropriate samples and effects which is difficult in AD2. Be lucky if you can add some octobans, if available. Anyways, great product.
Patterns easy to load in superior drummer midi library. Patterns have a real human feel and pretty accurate. Can be tweaked easily. Very happy
Just wanted to drop a note to shoppers that I have a lot of midi drum loops from many sources, including all of groovemonkee loops - and these Police loops are very much worth getting if they're of interest. They are _different_ and inspiring in the kind way that only different grooves can provide. Great for songwriting inspiritation for me.
I like the beats I give them a 95 🎸You can sort of dance to them 🤪I will be using the Police beats soon.
Good
Great police type grooves for songwriting and fleshing out new songs!
The pack is well done
A collection of grooves and entire songs. Nicely played and useful beyond Police songs.
Just goes to show what a brilliant drummer The Police had. Gret MIDI pack. I'm glad I bought it.
Great beats
I used this Police groove set to compare a few drum VSTs out. This came in very handy especially as you can sing along to the drum parts and have a point of reference. Waiting for the Keith Moon pack. ;)
Police's unique Groove is beautifully reproduced!

I was playing one of the midi loops and my wife who usually ignores me when I'm playing music commented how good it sounded. That says a lot. Great grooves as always. Looking forward to more packs like this one.

Absolutely Awesome! We continue to purchase midi drum files from Groove Monkee Because they work flawlessly in all of the productions we write. The Many drum machines and VSTs that we use are triggered perfectly with these files and we like the velocity and swing given to the performance. We will continue to purchase these products because they work and make our productions sound fantastic.

Store owner replied: Thanks Damon!
Stewart Copeland is one of my all time favorite drummers. His creativity in the Police is what I was really drawn to, and I continue to love this music today. These grooves really capture the nuance of his hi hat work and syncopations. Great midis, great value. Thanks!!
Store owner replied: Thanks Russ!
hi the hi hats were too dominating and unvaried
Now that I have completed a track that needed this style, I am once again amazed at how flexible AND full featured GM products are! Folks, buy the super sized pack and get most EVERY beat you need or could want.......and if they do not fit right off the bat, I have never found closer beats than GM for what I am looking for. I have invested 1000's of dollars in drum Midi, Software, Loops, etc for my rock / blues / country / "left field" tracks, and in a nut shell Groove Monkee delivers most every time! Yes I am a fan boy, and for good reason.....just listen to this newest Police collection and you will see why I am. Beats that are right on & flexible, like ALL the sets. Groove Monkee for the win in my book!

Smart & snappy production, very useful content.
Great Midi as always!! this can be used to create police songs, but also anything else you can come up with!
The song-by-song patterns are very helpful in my band without a drummer.
Well thought out, and organized in logical fashion. Interestingly enough, I find these beats work with a variety of songs... Thnx Charles ;) BFD3

I love the police beats, the beats are awesome, and I highly recommend it. I listen to a Latin Pop rock band called Mana and their drum style is almost something similar to the drum beats of the police. This is awesome, I wish they could make a drum pack in the style of Maná the drummers name is Alex González. I would purchase any bundle pack of Maná, because that is my favorite Latin band, and it's more of my style of music. Hope this review helped, have a wonderful and blessed day or night and God bless you all.

I am a massive fan of Stewart Copeland and couldn't believe it when I received an email from Groove Monkee advertising their pack of Police midi beats. Copeland is a phenomenally talented drummer and although he covers many genres of music, he also has a very distinctive style of his own and this beautifully shines through in this pack of beats. I am so looking forward to using this in my own reggae/rock song writing and recordings. Well done to the Groove Monkee gang. Fantastic stuff, you have done it again, keep up the good work!

It is always happy day when GM releases a new collection, and this is no exception! Tho I JUST grabbed the Police Collection, the audio demos showed that there are 2 sets that will fit right into a track a few of use have been flustered with so far (DaDa & Rox) Thanks once again GM, MY go to drum Midi collections!
Store owner replied: Thanks Smurf!
