Excellent product to have if you want to inject a live drum feel in your music. Plus, to get forever FREE updates on all new drum packs and updates, it's worth getting the Mega Pack.
Thank you for this work. Sometimes, the samples sound very differently and need to be adjusted in velocity when switching from one drum to the other, but they work quiet well. I would just have dreamed of midi names that would describe the type of grooves, for instance a few letters in the name telling if those are shuffled, half time shuffled, etc, it would help when trying to find the right sample in a big library. And maybe, "bonuses" would deserve to be organized in the main library. When using this big pack there are, for instance, hip hop or funk in many various directories.

These beats absolutely rock. With the MegaPack, I can't think of ANYTHING I couldn't find a beat for. Except for air drums on my dashboard at stoplights, I am not a drummer. Not even a little bit, ask my drummer! But I play a lot of styles, and just about every groove I can imagine is there, often with multiple nuances in different packs, and variations on top of that. Besides the fills, intros, and outros. I use them in Addictive Drums 2. My DAW is Cubase. Big Addictive Drums fan here, too, and I want to shout out that the entire Groove Monkee collection integrates seemlessly with the functions of Addictive drums, which are themselves considerable. No install problems. The drum maps (which are extremely complicated), import perfectly. For me, the biggest drag of the whole recording process is endlessly auditioning beats to find the right one. C'mon, at the end of the day, there's something crazy like 35000 files here! But the Groove Monkee beat and file naming conventions work great, once I clicked to the pattern of the naming of each file and the tree they are laid out in. It's fairly consistent across the library, that's good. The inclusion of whole song files is very helpful, especially those that are tied to known hit songs, BY NAME. Very helpful and cool. All these features, when coupled with the really advanced search and audition functions in Addictive Drums, make that drum pain about as minimal as it's ever gonna be, I think. It has certainly changed and improved the way I work in the studio. To summarize- -Mega Pack. Endless grooves. Across multiple genres and flavors. All of them? All I can think of anyway! -Great drummers. Rock solid, but they don't sound particularly quantized -Wide variety of EVERYTHING: Intros, outros, fills, variations, choruses, middle 8's and bridges -Solid naming conventions and file organization make the search and audition process of this HUGE collection manageable. -With the Groove Monkee provided drum mapping to Addictive Drums, you wind up with FULL and COMPLETE integration of this huge library with the powerful search and editing functions of Addictive Drums. The two together are huge! Lastly, shout out to Russ. I'm an idiot and re-bought a couple packs I already had. I just mentioned it in passing, and Russ immediately offered to swap them out for a couple packs I didn't already have. No questions. Thanks, bud! Big fan of all here!

These grooves strike the right balance between simplicity and complexity. They are specific but not too specific. In other words they form a solid starting point for building your song. Some users complain that they want more finished pieces out of the box. But that’s not the point of these. Anyone with some simple editing ability should be able to quickly modify these grooves after stringing them together. Yes, using them requires some skill as opposed to more ready made solutions. But the results are much better.

I just purchased the Mega Pack and I can’t believe how good value this is. I rarely write reviews but I need to leave feedback about how good this is. I was concerned that it was a big investment and might not get used. I have absolutely no buyers remorse. Within 10 minutes I had all of the 3.5k grooves on BeatBuddy.. Another 10 minutes and they were also all in EZ Drummer 3 so I can use with Logic/DAW. I genuinely wish I had bought this sooner, They sound is very realistic and doesn’t sound cheesy at all. I am blown away at how good this is. Many thanks you cheeky Monkee!

I have purchased a few groove packs over the years and have been very satified with them. I am glad that I have now upgraded to the Mega pack, even more inspiring grooves and at a very reasonable price. Thank you Groove Monkee.
My DAW is Waveform and I use it with EZ Drummer. I could include the Monkey Groove Mega Pack without problems into EZD's library. The midi gooves have a wide spectrum of many genres and inside the different styles there are very versatile sound slices which can be used 'as is' - no need to change or customize them. Very recommandable.
If you love having options, then definitely look at the MegaPak! I can't listen through everything, because as soon as I start, I get pulled off track by a new idea inspired by a loop I just listened to!

The process of getting the Mega Pack content onto my BeatBuddy was not something I was looking forward to. GrooveMonkee Service Team gave me detailed instructions and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. So far I am pleased with the purchase.
I've owned a number of Monkee libraries for some time & find them really useful for generating inspiration & developing tracks. I've just upgraded to the Mega Pack and now have access to even more flavours and numerous creative ideas to utilise in my songwriting. Great upgrade!!
I like your product but your installation instructions are confusing. It would really help to include updated installation instructions with the product download, not online. I still don’t understand how to use the “Latin extras” for Battery. Also, I think your model of installing the library multiple times with different drum mappings for each drum program is inefficient. I use many different drum programs. I would prefer if I could install one generic library, then run a “remap” utility program that maps the library to a specific drum program. I could run this over and over to configure mappings for my different drum programs.
I have been using GM Grooves in all of my productions for 2 years and will continue to use them because they are simply the best.

I only wanted Blues and Country packs, but when I saw the Mega pack was on sale, I just went for it, and boy was I lucky. With Mega pack, I think I'm set for life! Not to mention free updates! I can't recommend this enough!
