i love the feel of these midi drums and have had great fun mixing up the grooves from various folders into my compositions. I use modo and having the things clearly labelled for each mapping was very helpful so thank you!
I played a lot of Led Zeppelin on drums in my life but having all those files now that i cant play because of neuropathic diabety i can use them in my projects i make with my hands. So it's really cool ! Thanx guys ! And i love any midi pack you make. i even plan to buy every packs i dont have now. i have 4 so far. i'll get them all ! Cheers ! :>)))
I love all of the grooves I'v e bought from Groove Monkey. I tend to use them in ways that were probably never intended. You'd think I was writing Zeppelin style stuff, but you'd be wrong. I speed them us, slow them down, soak 'em in heavy reverb, drench them in echo, boost them with compression. It's all on the table. Even the odd metal riff I might come up with.
LedHead is the latest addition to my GrooveMonkee collection, I now have 8 packs. They’re very useful when I’m songwriting as I can easily find a decent beat for a demo. More recently I’ve added them to my EZDrummer 3 library which has improved the selections it suggests.

I have tried in vain for years to obtain a good drum track for Led Zeppelin's classic rock song "Rock and Roll". Drummers struggle with the stamina required to play it, my friend who did manage has failed to produce a midi recording and all attempts by me to program it have been what might be politely termed as "sub-optimal". I love this pack! As a guitar player and horrible drummer, this allows me to both pull fills and grooves into my own compositions but also gives a ton of useful information which helps me build my own grooves that don't sound like a robot!

the only things that count - do you get lots of drum patterns, and do they map well to your DAW's virtual drums? Tried Led Head and the answer is YES! A great addition to the MIDI loop library.

Classic zeppelin drums It’s fun to try to invent something new to these classic drum parts. Individual loops are easy to modify. Some of them are suitable for quite different stuff also. I’m using them in Logic with various drum plugins.

Bonzo is alive via MIDI What makes these beats so great is looking at them against the grid. They are very human and have groove and feel that's quite wonderful to work with. It changes the way you play guitar and bass tracks because, you have to adopt the same vibe. It's very cool.

Another MIDI Drum Pack from Groove Monkey While I love using all the Drum Packs from Groove Monkey this one is stylistically different from most of the other packs. As per the title (Led Head Bundle) I'm sure you can figure out that these loops are based on some of the most popular Led Zeppelin songs. Each pallet is set for a particular song and the grooves and fills are based off of those songs. Granted some may say that is stealing but in reality it is very rare that I use any beat without changing many things in it. In general when writing I jam with a drum beat that catches my ear, something close to what I want to groove along with. After I have something I like I change the groove to match up more closely with the part I have just created. Move the kicks, add a fill, or even something as simple as adding a cymbal hit. Anyway, by the time I'm done with a part it doesn't sound much like the original anyway, just has a groove that moves me and that's what having these drum loops is all about. Well that and the fact that they are multi-tracked so you can effect them in any way you could possibly want to, something not really possible with a stereo drum loop. While you can make adjustments to the overall sound and with some effort and a multichannel effects processor you could take the time to zone in on the kick or snare and adjust there volumes but quite frankly I've always found it sounds way better when you can effect things separately! Groove Monkey gives me that and so much more!

AWESOME!! Great Drum tracks and these guys will go the extra mile to make you happy All in all great drum tracks . . . would like more complete songs like what you did with Led Zeppelin. Classic Rock from the 60's & 70's. After I made this comment to Groovemonkee they responded to me within hours about getting this done, THAT IS FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE a rare thing these days - FANTASTIC AND VERY APPRECIATED!! I am a rock guitar player singer 58 years old and it is very hard to find good musicians that are reliable so your drum tracks are very helpful! Would like songs from bands like Bad Co / Lynard Skynard / Deep Purple / Santana / Joe Walsh / Etc . . and don't forget all the GREAT CANADIAN bands like Steppinwolf / April Wine / Colin James / Kim Mitchell / Rush / Tragically Hip / Etc . . I use the BeatBuddy as a delivery system which allows some flexibility but would like songs to play from beginning to end without having to trigger each part (more so the complex songs with multiple parts). Lastly is there a way to have TEMPO changes? Like Skynard's "Freebird" for example?? All in all really like what you provide, good job guys and price is right! I am not one to throw out undeserved praise

led head sounds great. so far the midi has been very helpful for arrangements. the tracks are played very well. achiles last stand sounds great. could someone do the rover? perhaps in the future. your prices are very fare thank you for the hard work respectfully ron
fun grooves The idea of having a bunch of Led Zeppelin drum grooves in MIDI format wound't have seemed all the useful to me. I am glad I gave it a chance though, because this is very fun and provides a good starting point for a lot of heavy, funky basslines I am always coming up with.
The Led/Bonham pack The drum beats seem accurate, certainly the Bonham feel is captured. I (mostly) got this pack, so that I could chop up the rhythms and use them in my own songs. Great pack.
