Customizeable and very useable!
I enjoyed the beat patterns very much. However, perhaps this is a tech support question/comment but almost all of the sequences start 1/16-1/32 -beat late when I trigger my BB via MIDI from another source. They are not drifting, just behind. I'm not having this issue with any of the default beat banks just GM. Any suggestions?

A good way in These are imo a good starting point for anyone unfamiliar with this style. As always with GrooveMonkee files they can be mix and matched with other styles and genres. Goes without saying they’re well made.

Choices This pack has an excellent selection and a great feel
Not just for breakbeat Why would someone who writes alt.country, Americana, and swampy blues songs (me) want this? All drummers use vamps, jams, and breaks on turnaround and during solos/intros/outros this pack is perfect for that. That 2, 4 or 8 bar break, which can add tons of interest, and make a song. Groovy indeed (one for the kids).

Breakbeats Some nice beats here. Once I figured out how to add to Addictive Drums 2 library it was all good.
Exactly what I was looking for Awesome grooves, about 25 "songs" with an amazing set of variation within each "song." I like that I can just use the GM MIDI files with any of my software, I happen to be using this with NI Battery 4 so far. I had the melodic parts for an idea created, went to this collection, searched for about 10 mins to find beats that fit what I had in mind, and it worked perfectly. If they release a follow-up to this beat pack, I'll be the first in line to buy it.

SO Funky I love Groove Monkee & this is one of their best offerings. A no brainer purchase if you need the funk & drive of classic breaks with the control midi allows. Best midi packs in the game!!!
Very good midi parts I'm actually a fan of the Retro Funk drums midi bank from Groove Monkee, but the breakbeat bank is as seriously made as the Retro Funk (it's just more 'straight'). Anyway, it's as groovy and human as possible for drums midi parts. Very recommended !
