Finding the loops
The Abbey Road loops are in the "other midi mappings" folder, stored inside the folder named "Studio Drummer". These files also work with N.I. Studio Drummer.
Note: The files are NOT in the installer.
As the video shows, when installing MIDI loops into Abbey Road, you should copy the files into BOTH kit folders! Unlike some other programs, Abbey Road has more than one MIDI folder. Each version has a folder for each kit. By version, I mean 70s, 80s, Modern, etc.

Our grooves are recorded by working professional drummers and recorded with detailed hi-hats such as tip, shank, tight and more. By "working drummer" I mean that they earn a living by playing, recording and teaching ONLY.
Since 2004 we've partnered with some of the biggest names in the recording industry: Cakewalk, FXpansion, LinPlug, Propellerhead Software, Sonic Reality, Impact Soundworks, East West, Groove3, Music Tech Magazine and more.
If you have questions or need help installing the grooves, please contact us. We monitor email 7 days a week and typically respond in less than 8 hours. You can also open a support ticket from the Support page. Either way, we'll respond as quickly as we can.
