Loops For BFD
Yes, our midi loops work with BFD 2 and 3. We've supported BFD since version 1!
Groove Monkee supports all major midi mappings and formats. Please view our MIDI Formats PDF or contact us if you need midi loops for a different mapping.
Detailed BFD Mapping
Our loops are recorded with detailed hi-hats (tip, shank closed and open, and various openings) providing for the full capabilities of BFD.
We do NOT record our drummers in General Midi! Instead, we convert these detailed recordings to General midi.
Usage in BFD
Our midi loops are mapped to match BFD EXACTLY. And yes, you can audition the loops in the BFD Groove Browser.

Note: If you don't see the grooves in BFD after installation, close and restart BFD and your DAW (e.g. ProTools, Cubase, Logic, Studio One).
