A superb collection of grooves and fills. What I love about Groove Monkee MIDI drum clips is being able to tailor a new drum track exactly as I want it, swapping out fills until I've found my favourite combination, as well as the ability to switch from mid Ride cymbal to bell and adjust the velocities instantly, as necessary. And with so many third party virtual drumkits to choose from, the options are endless. Recommended!

The quality of drum loops from Groove Monkey is 1st class. Several different fills were included to make the song more interesting and natural. I appreciated the great customer service I got from Russ as well. I highly recommend using their tracks on your next musical endeavor.

The drum plugin I use has tons of great MIDI grooves b ut almost all of them are sophisticated, with ghost notes, very modern drumming. I needed something classical groove set as I am not a drummer and cannot record the drums using the MIDI keyboard, I opted to purchase the necessary sets from Groove Monkee, after reading great reviews. They were true. This particular set already met my needs, so other sets were bought, too. Easy to install the grooves to SSD5.5 and AD2 plugins, however there are plenty of other variants made for other plugins, too. Highly recommended if you are about classic drum grooves.

Classic Rock is what it says on the tin, I did a few test runs with some of it, I'm impressed and will certainly be using it. Groove Monkee packs offer cool grooves that are well organized and fit nicely in the original tunes I compose. A nice option over the stock grooves that come with the drum software itself. I find that they fit the genre based on the name of the pack. This latest purchase was Classic Rock and these grooves sound just like the name would suggest. I have quite a few Groove Monkee packs and there will be more in the future. Good stuff!

great midi loops These loops are really high quality . Full songs are interesting for studying drum arrangements. Individual loops are easy to use and to modify. I’m using them in Logic with various drum plugins.

Nice but limited While I love the other GM drum packs I use (RE1, RE2, Country, Retro Funk), you should know that this one's a little different in that it's based on 16 distinct well-known classic rock songs. Yes, there's a lot of usable stuff in there, especially as starting points, but it's hard to use any of it. The copy did say it was inspired by specific bands, but I didn't realize it was basically all the drum parts of these 16 songs. Now, that said, you can find find a lot of uses at different tempos, but a the nominal tempos it's hard to think of those beats as anything BUT the original songs. In the long run, I have to say I love GM in general, and actually prefer a lot of they have to the more expensive packs sold by the maker of the software drums I use.

Nice addition but.. Lots of useful beats, particulary in uncommon time signatures. Not really a fan of the completed song format. I'd rather decide for myself how to use the loops.

True Drum Staples These are fantastic classic rock staples. They come from recognizable songs, but the drum parts aren't so iconic that you can't do anything else with them. For example, When the Levee Breaks is so iconic, I don't know how well it would work in any other song. These, however, can work in a whole host of different songs and styles.
